ATCE-“SPERANTA RAMNICEANA” is organizing and hosting a 6 months EVS project in Ramnicu Sarat, Romania: LIVE-Learn to get Involved, Volunteer In Europe
Title: LIVE- Learn to get Involved-Volunteer in Europe
Period: 1st of November 2014- 1st of May 2015 (6 months)
Venue: Rimnicu Sarat, Romania
Theme: The use of non-formal methods and instruments in working with children (kindergarten and primary school) and intercultural learning.
Our partner organizations E-genclik Association from Turkey and Associazione Culturale Eufemia from Italy are searching for 5 volunteers, age 18-30.
The volunteer should:
-be between18-30 years old
-be motivated, in need of personal learning and having the capacity of disseminating the results in community
-have at least medium English language level
– have the ability of working with children
-have the capacity of working with children with fewer possibilities: roma children, poor children, children coming from mono-parental families.
-be youngsters confronting fewer opportunities that want to benefit from an empirical learning service, in order to easily integrate in the community
-have availability for working in an activity service with 30 hours/week
-be flexible, creative, and with initiative spirit in using non-formal methods and instruments while working with children and young people
The project’s theme will reach 2 European dimensions: European awareness and promoting non-formal methods and instruments; will consist in enlarging the offer of non-formal methods and instruments in primary schools and kindergartens.
The purpose of the project is in fact to develop the offer of non-formal methods and instruments and also to train young people to use and apply the benefits of non-formal education in their personal and professional life.
**The selection procedure consists in filling in the application form and sending it along with your CV and a motivational letter. After the pre-selection made by our partners, we will host a common Skype conference where we’ll do the final selection of the 5 volunteers.
