Dear youngsters from Ramnicu Sarat, Podgoria and all nearby areas,
Centrul de Tineret F.O.R.T.E.S. Ramnicu Sarat has the pleasure to invite you to take part in 3 youth projects coordinated and partially hosted by local NGOs and municipalities. All projects are organized under the Youth In Action Programme with the financial support of the European Commission.
Please read carefully the project descriptions below and choose the project that fits you the most. In order to apply, please download the form found at this link (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BwVnJCx89cfuY3Rpei03UjJRWW8/edit?usp=sharing ) and fill it in according to the project you choose, in English language. For every project that you apply for you are kindly requested to send a separate form. Please save the document with the title Project title_Your name. Please return to office@atcesr.ro this form dully filled before the deadline required for each project in the announcement. The e-mail subject should be the project title.

- 1. Title: “Solidarity and Understanding between Neighbours” SUN
Type of project: youth exchange, Action 1.1
APV dates: 22-24 March 2013
Main exchange dates: 19-28 April 2013
Venue: Râmnicu Sărat, Romania
Organizer and host: ATCE-SR- Asociatia de Tineret Cultura si Educatie “Speranta Ramniceana”

Aim: The youth exchange “Solidarity and Understanding between Neighbours” SUN has been designed as a context in which the partnership between Romania, Albania, Germany, Italy, Moldova and Turkey aims to eliminate discrimination by understanding diversity inside and around the European space.
Participants targeted: 5 participants aged between 16-24 years old, open, curious, willing to meet new cultures, to learn more about discrimination and positive attitudes towards cultural diversity and available to attend the activities for the whole duration of the main exchange. Experience is an advantage, but not mandatory.
Financial conditions: no participation fee required, no other costs implied, 3 meals per day covered

- 2. Title: “Media Facets-in youth policies and democracy”
Type of project: participatory democracy project, Action 1.3
Main international meeting dates: 5-15 April 2013
Venue: Monforte San Giorgio, Italy (4-9 April) and Podgoria, Romania (9-14 April)

Aim: The project “Media Facets-in youth policies and democracy” aim at increasing the awareness of youngsters on filtering the messages received from mass media and social media by actively involving these youngsters in the European community participatory democracy.
Participants targeted: 6 youngsters aged 15-25 years old on behalf of Comuna Podgoria Municipality and 6 youngsters aged 15-25 years old on behalf of Podgoria Active Youth; youngsters able to communicate in English and available to attend all activities due to take place in Italy and Romania, interested to learn more on the democratic process and to discover how mass media and social media can be used or misused in the governance process, to enjoy both Italy and Romania in an intercultural and international youth environment. Experience is an advantage, but not mandatory.
Financial conditions: 125 euro maximum for transport (plane, bus/train costs which is 30% of the entire costs and this is non-refundable). Food and accommodation are 100% covered. No participation fee required.

- 3. Title: “European Union-Republic and Monarchy”
Type of project: participatory democracy project, Action 1.3
Main international meeting dates: 22 May-4 June April 2013
Venue: Puente Genil, Spain (22-28 May) and Ramnicu Sarat, Romania (29 May-4 June)

Aim: To reach a better understanding of the 2 governmental systems: Republic and Monarchy, existing in Europe, by analyzing strengths, weaknesses, shape and content elements in order to get a proper image of the living conditions in both systems.
Participants targeted: 6 youngsters aged 16-25 years old on behalf of F.O.R.T.E.S. and 6 youngsters aged 15-25 years old on behalf of Ramnicu Sarat Municipality; youngsters able to communicate in English and available to attend all activities due to take place in Spain and Romania, interested to learn more on the 2 governmental systems, to discover monarchy from its people and to share information on what living in a Republic means, to visit one of the South points of Spain and to show our local community to our Spanish colleagues . Experience is an advantage, but not mandatory.
Financial conditions: 160 euro maximum for transport (plane, bus/train costs which is 30% of the entire costs and this is non-refundable). Food and accommodation are 100% covered. No participation fee required.

4 . Title: “EdU PerFORMING”

Type of project: Training course, Action 3.1b
Training dates: 11 – 19 April 2013

Aim: The training course „EdU PerFORMING” wants to form youth workers by using different tools of non – formal education. The project is a mix of tools, in which the participants will also discover and try to use the tools in the way to improve their non – formal competences.
Participants targeted: 3 participants with no age limits, motivated to use tools of non – formal education in volunteer activities, also in NGO’s and formal education system. The participants will discover the oportunity of non – formal tools, presented by trainers. Experience is an advantage, but not mandatory.

5 Title: “Traieste proezia prin teatru – TRUP”

Aim: The youth exchange “Traieste poezia prin teatru – TRUP” SUN wants to promote the cultural values from Romania and Rep. Moldova using the poetry and theatre as subjects of non -formal involvement.
Participants targeted: 16 participants aged between 16-24 years old, motivated to create poetry, to use their experience and artistic competences, and interested in using their creativity. Experience is an advantage, but not mandatory.
